What it does
Someone puts in their current pot, what they're paying in and how long they've got, and sees a projection. Then they change the contribution and watch the line move, which is the bit that does the persuading.
It's a projection, not a promise - it says plainly that it's a guide and that the value of a pension can go down as well as up. What it's really for is turning a vague intention into a specific question, which is the question they then bring to you.
How it works
Drop it on a page and it runs. There's nothing to set up.
The projection is calculated in the visitor's browser, so nothing they enter is sent anywhere.
The "this is a guide, not advice" wording underneath is part of the component - the same on every site, and not editable in the builder. If your compliance process needs it worded differently, ask and we'll agree it for your site.
