Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This site keeps them to a minimum and does not use cookies to track you across other websites. Basic visitor numbers are also counted without cookies, using privacy-first measurement that stores nothing about you personally.

Analytics (PostHog) - optional. Once you agree to the "Analytics" category, PostHog sets cookies and browser storage on this site (with names beginning "ph_") and records the pages you visit and what you click, for Margot Web's own PostHog account. If session recording is turned on in that account, it can also record how you use the pages. Before you choose, page views are counted without cookies or anything else stored on your device, and are not later linked to you. If you say no, PostHog is not loaded at all, and if you withdraw your consent its cookies and storage are cleared. Your browser reaches PostHog through this site's own address, which passes your IP address on to PostHog.
Marketing - optional. Nothing on this website uses this category at present. Your choice also applies to the Margot Web app on the same domain, whose own privacy policy explains what it does there.

Managing your choices

You can change your choices at any time using the "Manage cookies" option in the cookie banner, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working. This site honours Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals from your browser and treats one as a "no". Visitors in the UK, the EU and EEA, Switzerland and Quebec (or all of Canada, where the province cannot be told) are asked before any optional cookies are set. Elsewhere, optional cookies are on by default and you can turn them off with the "Manage cookies" option.
