Yes. Your content, your images and your domain are yours. We build and host it for you, but it's your business's site - and if you ever leave, you take your domain with you.
What happens if I cancel - do I keep my domain?
You keep your domain, always. There's no lock-in and no long contract - cancel any time, and we'll help you move your domain wherever you want it. We'd rather earn your stay than trap you.
How quickly will my site be live?
A few days, usually. After a quick call we build your site, walk you through it and change whatever you want changed. Once you're happy, we put it live - domain, hosting and setup all handled by us. The only thing that tends to hold it up is waiting on your sign-off.
Can I use a domain I already own?
Yes. Bring your existing domain and we'll point it at your new site for you - you won't have to touch any settings. Prefer a fresh one? A .co.uk or .com is included.
Who makes changes once it's live?
We do. Email us the change - new rates, an updated disclosure, a team change - and a real person makes it, usually the same day. We keep your content fresh for you proactively too, so you often don't even need to ask. Prefer to tinker? There's an editor too - it's just never homework.
Will you help me get found on Google and AI search?
Yes - it's the whole point. Every Margot site has the technical SEO done for you, and it's built to be picked up by AI search like ChatGPT and Google's AI answers, not just old-fashioned search. We help with the words that get you found, too.
Who's responsible for compliance?
You are - it's your firm's site and your regulatory responsibility, as it should be. Margot makes that easy: your financial promotions, disclosures and policies are drafted for you and kept current, and nothing goes live until you've approved it. We handle the website; you keep sign-off.
How much does it cost?
It's £49 a month, flat - everything included: your site designed and built for you, hosting, your own domain, compliance-aware pages, and a real person who makes your changes and keeps it fresh.
