Who runs this website
Margot is responsible for the personal information collected through this website (the "data controller"). This site is built and hosted on Margot's behalf by Margot, which acts as the service provider (data processor) and handles that information only on Margot's instructions.
Information we collect
Enquiries. If this site has a contact or enquiry form and you choose to use it, we collect the details you enter - typically your name, email address, phone number and your message - so that we can reply to you.
Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting keeps standard server logs (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request) to keep the site secure and running.
Visitor counts. This site counts its visitors using privacy-first measurement built into the hosting: no cookies are set, nothing is stored about you personally, and the numbers are kept only as anonymous daily totals (for example how many people visited and which pages they read). Your IP address is used momentarily to tell visitors apart within a single day and is never stored; visitors cannot be recognised from one day to the next.
Cookies. This site uses a small number of cookies, described in the Cookie Policy.
How we use it
We use the information you give us only to respond to your enquiry and to provide and secure this website. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Your information is handled by Margot as our hosting provider, under a data-processing arrangement. We otherwise share personal data only where it is necessary to run the site, or where the law requires it.
Analytics. If you agree to the analytics cookies, anonymous information about how you use this site is processed by PostHog (privacy-focused website analytics) to help us understand and improve the site. This happens only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie banner.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and to keep reasonable business records, and then delete them. Technical logs are kept for a short period on a rolling basis.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, contact us using the contact details on this website. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
